Description: It can be difficult for non-Minotaurs to distinguish between Minotaurs. Hartnäckig, to someone who has difficulties distinguishing the race, would appear as a large, hairy creature. His fur is dark brown, his skin barely lighter. He has a long mane and beard, and his horns have a slightly u-shaped swoop upwards. He is solidly built, with hands the size of a man's face, and black nails. A minotaur would see more subtle features, such as the fact his nose is down-turned, but the nostrils are quite high, that his eyes are small and sunken, and that he has a very defined brow bone. He stands at just under ten feet, even though he is slightly stooped over due to the huge bulk of his shoulders.

Personality: Hartnäckig is surprisingly calm, for a minotaur. Although he is still prone to explosive bits of rage, he has a warrior's mind, which includes logics and tactics. Many are surprised to find out that this big brute of a creature is not merely a simple-minded beast driven by the need to smash things. Although, he does enjoy smashing things. He is fierce, and refuses to ever let weakness or fear show through.

History:
Hartnäckig Wund was born in the African sahara. His tribe was nomadic, as the terrain was harsh, and the constant moving allowed the Minotaurs to find food. Hartnäckig was quite strong, and was able to lift the ceremonial hammer at seven years of age, so did not have a very long period of time where he was considered a child. At seven, he was expected to go out on his own to forage, to fight and hunt, and lay down his life for the tribe if need be.

Hartnäckig was fairly cool-headed compared to other Minotaurs, and he wished to make the world a better place. By total chance, Hartnäckig met the Minotaur whom was on the Council of Varos, for Urikearn was also travelling, to check on the status of the Minotaur tribes across the world and make sure the race was not dying out, as many tribes had vanished. Hartnäckig's tribe invited Urikearn to stay the month with them, and share their food. Urikearn liked to talk to the various members of the tribe, and gather stories. Something about Hartnäckig's stories apparently tweaked the interest of the Councilmember, as he invited the young Minotaur to travel with him.

Hartnäckig agreed, and traveled the world with Urikearn for over a decade as his assistant. When Urikearn passed away, Varos bestowed upon him Urikearn's position. Hartnäckig tried to do his best as a Council member, and tried to be fair and just, as Urikern was. However, Hartnäckig saw Earth as the death of supernaturals. So, when Nysa was discovered, and Stilia Medusa showed the glorious world to the other Council members, Hartnäckig was enthralled. It was a world in which supernaturals had no need to hide. However, it was quite primitive, and the natives were always wary, due to the dangerous creatures.

Hartnäckig and a few other Council members began to help the primitive world, helping build walls to keep everyone safe at night. Eventually, when the Council was disbanded, in which Hartnäckig had a helping, the Minotaur gathered as many as he could and went to live in Nysa, and founded the Crusaders, to help better this new world.
